G.A. Maasleder BV in Waalwijk is looking for an experienced Supervisor Warehouse for a dynamic full-time logistics position with a very broad and varied range of duties. From setting priorities and monitoring work planning, to carrying out process optimization: Within this challenging job, you will deal with all facets related to the ins and outs of the warehouse.

The company has been trading leather for almost 100 years, focusing on items for shoe makers and manufacturers in the middle/high end and orthopedic applications, among others. With customers all over Europe, they are an internationally oriented organization with the ambition to be the best at what they do.

The job

As Warehouse Supervisor you will have an important role within the beating heart of the organization. You have final responsibility for the work execution together with two colleagues. As Supervisor you are the point of contact for both colleagues and external parties. You take the lead in analyzing and optimizing the processes in the warehouse, for this you create support among your colleagues. No two days are the same, so it is important that you keep an overview and monitor the planning.

In addition, you will perform tasks such as:

  • Managing the warehouse team;
  • Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods;
  • Taking orders and maintain customer contact, both by phone and in person in the warehouse;
  • Collecting, checking and preparing orders for shipment;
  • Administrative work on the computer;
  • Perform inventory management and support the purchasing department;
  • Ensuring a well-appointed, tidy and organized warehouse.

Who are you?

A real logistics jack-of-all-trades with enthusiasm and vigor. You have organizational skills, a critical eye and a helicopter view, and you can easily switch between different tasks without losing the overview. The motto “one team, one task” is something you propagate every day.

  • You have demonstrable experience in a similar position;
  • You want to be an important link within a close-knit team;
  • You are familiar with the Microsoft Office package and have previously worked with an ERP system;
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written. Any (basic) knowledge of German is an advantage;
  • You preferably have experience and/or affinity with leather and/or shoes;
  • You live within a radius of 25km from Waalwijk.
