PRIVACY STATEMENT MAASLEDER B.V. (hereinafter referred to as “Maasleder”).

Personal data

This statement is intended for the clients and/or suppliers of Maasleder. This statement details how Maasleder handles the personal data you provide. A “personal data” says something or could say something about a natural person. A piece of data qualifies as personal data fairly quickly and can become personal data when combined with other data.

By using our available services, you will also share with us personal data necessary for the performance of our agreement. We store and use only those personal data that are provided directly by you or which, upon submission, it is clear are provided to us for processing.

On basis ‘Necessary for the performance of a contract’, depending on the service you use, we may request the following personal data:

• name and address data
• E-mail address
• Telephone number

This applies both to our (potential) customers and to parties from whom we purchase business and/or services.

Without this information it would be impossible to send you a quotation or an order, to determine what specifications or wishes a certain service should meet, to perform work, to invoice, to pay and to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about the execution aspects of the agreement.

To make shopping within our webshop as pleasant as possible, with your permission we store your personal data and the data relating to your orders and the use of our services. This allows us to personalize the website and improve the user experience.

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with any or sufficient personal data, we may not be able to carry out the aforementioned activities.

Transfer to third parties

Your data will explicitly not be provided to third parties, other than third parties who are directly involved in the execution of the agreement between you and us, or unless any legal provision obliges us to do so. Incidentally, we have always concluded processing agreements with these third parties, so that we have made agreements about the way in which these third parties must handle the personal data.

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer, tablet or smartphone during your visit to our website. These text files store information that can be recognized by the website during a later visit.

We also place functional cookies. We do this to make it easy to use our website.

We use the link to Google Analytics on our site, but have made every effort to keep this as secure as possible for our customers. Within this framework, we have entered into a processor agreement with The Sequel who manages our website.

Retention period of personal data

Your personal data will never be kept longer than necessary for the execution of the agreement, based on the legal retention and documentation obligations, taking into account data minimization.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• to access and/or obtain your own personal data.
• amend, or have amended, your own personal data if they contain inaccuracies
• have your personal data erased or limit their use
• have your own personal data transferred by us to another party.

You can also object to us collecting and using your data or file a complaint with the Personal Data Authority.
