Passionate about leather since 1926<\/em><\/p>\n

In the early twentieth century, Waalwijk was the heart of the flourishing Dutch shoe and leather industry. In 1926, Gerrit Maas started his company, under the name G.A. Maas Leder. In 1958, son Jan Maas took over, and his son Gerard Maas did the same in 1985. The passion for leather is clearly in the Maas family’s DNA. Since 1 July 2019, Gerard’s son Jurgen has also joined the company, strongly carrying forward the tradition from father to son.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

A lot has changed over the years. At the same time, the basis of Maasleder has remained the same. Our fascination with leather is our driving force. You can never know enough about it. Led by four generations of Maas, the company has grown into an international player in leather. Maasleder is a reliable name for both tanneries and producers of shoes, fashion and leather goods<\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n

We are agents for several leading Italian tanneries and work internationally with a wide variety of customers. In the Netherlands, we are the leading leather supplier for, among others, the orthopaedic custom-made shoe industry. With an extensive international network, we are the partner for whom only the best leather is good enough.<\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n \n \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

A family business at heart<\/h2>\n

Some years ago, our premises were completely renovated and expanded, allowing us to trade optimally and deliver directly from stock. As a progressive family business, we have shared the same passion and drive for quality leather for many years. This is also reflected in our business philosophy. We like to keep the lines of communication short and personal and we are always happy to go the extra mile for all our customers to achieve the very best end result.<\/p>\n
